HEALTH

The Aronin Family Foundation funds transformative healthcare projects which seek to increase well-being and bring hope to those who need relief from rare and catastrophic medical conditions.

INITIATIVES

Healthcare Entrepreneurs

Technology-savvy entrepreneurs are catalysts for improvements in healthcare quality, speed and cost-efficiency.

The Aronin Family Foundation supports programs which attract and enable entrepreneurs to solve healthcare problems. We are particularly interested in collaborative incubator programs which encourage entrepreneurs to apply technology and data integration to: prevent illness, improve sick-care decision making, and reduce system cost.

ADVANCING MEDICAL SCIENCE

The Aronin Family Foundation supports health charities which select and fund translational research and late-stage clinical trials of groundbreaking therapies.

Our focus is the development of techniques and technologies which could be broadly applicable across multiple diseases. Our current scientific interest areas include gene editing, combination therapies for spectrum disorders, and the application of artificial intelligence to diagnosis.

RARE DISEASES

There are over 6,000 diseases without an FDA-approved treatment. Many of these debilitating medical conditions are rare. As a result, recruitment for clinical trials can be difficult; statistically-valid evidence to guide therapies is typically scarce; and very few expert centers are available for diagnosis, disease management, and research.

The Aronin Family Foundation offers hope to patients dealing with rare medical conditions by supporting patient organizations. These patient groups advocate for research attention, host support forums, and educate the public.
